Celebrating 25years of Short Film

CALL TO ENTRY
extended deadline closes
18th September 2020

FROM THE DIRECTORS

Due to Covid-19 we have made the decision to postpone the festival until November (new tentative dates are Fri 20 Nov - Sun 6 Dec).

We have therefore extended the submissions close date until Friday 18 September.

So there is still plenty of time for you to submit your films!!

CSFF'19 received almost 400 films from across the world!

66+ hours of film were deliberated on, debated and shortlisted by our wonderful judges and in the end a fantastic selection of short films, produced over the last 18-months was showcased at the festival.

We grew in other ways too with the festival running over two consecutive weeks in September, at 6 separate screening venues all around Canberra.

We are very proud to have established new partnerships with Belconnen Arts Centre, See-Change, Northside Community Services, and Photo Access.  These new partnerships will help us to further connect with local filmmakers via collaborations on workshops, networking sessions & discussion panels and of course allow us to screen the films to an even larger audience.

This year marks our 25th birthday, we feel sure it is going be an amazing year too.  We are planning some very special events to celebrate this milestone year for our much loved festival.

We look forward to seeing your films and enjoying your company for CSFF20, our 25th Season. Last, but certainly not least, a shout out of thanks and love to our founding partners, major sponsors and to  our festival sponsors and event partners for your continuing support.
