CSFF19 received almost 400 films from across the world!

The 66+ hours of film were deliberated on, debated and shortlisted by our wonderful judges and in the end a fantastic selection of short films, produced over the last 18-months was showcased at the festival.

We grew in other ways too with the festival running over two consecutive weeks in September, at 6 separate screening venues all around Canberra.

We are very proud to have established new partnerships with Northside Community Services, Belconnen Arts Centre, See-Change and Photo Access.  These new partnerships will help us to further connect with local filmmakers via collaborations on workshops, networking sessions & discussion panels and of course allow us to screen the films to an even larger audience.

2020 is our 25th birthday, we feel sure it is going be an amazing year too.  We are planning some very special events to celebrate this milestone year for our much loved festival.

We are looking forward to seeing your films and enjoying your company at CSFF20, and a shout out of thanks to our founding partners, major sponsors and to all of our festival sponsors and event  partners for your continuing support.

Call to Entry opens on  February  3rd 2020.
